What is USDPT?

USDPT is a payment-focused US dollar stablecoin launched by Western Union and issued by Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., a federally chartered US bank. It went live in May 2026 and is natively deployed on Solana.

Each USDPT is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar and redeemable at $1, with reserves held in bank deposits and US Treasuries.

Under the US GENIUS Act, stablecoin issuers may not pay interest to holders — the APR on this campaign is a subscription subsidy funded by Gate, not native USDPT yield.

USDPT has a total supply of only about $10M and thin spot liquidity. Gate and Kraken have both listed the token, but Gate is the only exchange offering an Earn product on it. Please assess the risk yourself before participating.
